I know your type: Tall, dark, and dead.
I'm still struggling to get Photoshop to do what I want it to (the colors won't blend smoothly, orz).
And the coloring is just... WOW, as usual ¤___¤ *tries to jump through the screen to roll in the snow*

Pfft, maternal vikings. If I'm not entirely wrong, Sweden did his own race with Russia (and Ukraine?) as well, the first rulers of Kiev and Novgorod being vikings. xDD

It took me two years to figure it out, actually. *fail* And I almost bought a whole new program before I accidentally stumbled across this method. XD So I'll explain it and spare you the frustration!
Okay. So, when you start out in Photoshop, select the brush tool. Look up at the brush tool bar across the top; it should look like this. To give your brush opacity that you can change by applying or decreasing pressure on your pen (you can't do this if you don't have a tablet, btw ;_; ), click on the small arrow next to the brush that says "tablet options" (as explained in my blurry screencap XD). If your brush selector now shows a line that is lighter at either end, you have a SUCCESS! 8D Here is a screencap explaining the different things you can do with your brush in this mode. And this picture explains that you have to scroll to make your brush bigger or smaller (don't use the brush selector dropdown menu and select a different brush size, as this will bump you right back to where you started. If that does happen, though, just click the arrow you did at the beginning to give your brush opacity again). With that foundation, you just have to play around for a while until you get the hang of using it like "paint". I really hope that helps you. If you use the technique, I'd love to see what you do with it! <3
(By the way, if you have a different version of Photoshop it might not work; I use Elements 4.0 :/)
< 33333 thanks soooooo much,
